Sansevieria or better known Snake Plant, Mother-in-Law's Tongue is a sort of ornamental plants that are very popular to decorate the interior of the house, because this plant can grow in conditions of little water and the light of the sun (about 60-85°F).

Sansevieria has thick, vertical sword shaped leaves. The leaves are dark green and are accented with lighter green bars going horizontal along the blade like leaves. Some varieties have a yellowish colored border along the leaves.

Sansevieria has many advantages, such as to be able to survive in the rank of time and temperature and the light they are very ample, very resistant to the polluting agents, and are able to absorb type 107 of polluting agents in the zone of dense traffic and a full room of tobacco smoke and can absorb the radiation of electronic products. Some polluting agents are absorbed by sanseviera.
