According to research from a number researchers from the United States, that less walking may shrink the brain or more precisely if we are not running as far as 10 miles in one week can shrink the brain is often called dementia. They found that people who walk approximately six to nine miles or 10 miles-15 miles a week have a risk of memory impairment 50 percent less than those who less walking than that in a week. And more research needs to be done on the effects of exercise in people with dementia. However, in the absence of effective treatment for Alzheimer's, walking is probably the one thing you can do to help.

Currently there are no drugs that can stop the progression of Alzheimer's disease, which affects more than 26 million people in the world.
